I have been wagering on the net or at land based gambling dens for many years. I have been taught, the addiction is able to take a hold of you and you will not even notice it up till you are broke. Specifically if you are on a winning streak. I have been through uncounted hundreds of dollars in only a short period of time and even still on occasion, I sometimes go a bit too long. It appears you are only enjoying yourself till you make a choice to consider your squanderings and the blame sets in, and of course you continue telling yourself "I will be able to earn the funds back" a number of times. It never works. Then you get icky in your stomach and the harder you attempt the faster you lose.
When you discover that you are ahead, STAY in the Black! When you start to give away, do not tell yourself, "well just 1 more" a number of times, trust me, this method almost never ever functions. Say you plan on gambling on one armed bandits, keep a value separate ahead of starting your play. DON’T go over that threshold, no matter how tempting. If you happen to gain, put the winnings in a separate pot. Do not wager your profits regardless of what happens. After you have played through your beginning set threshold, stop. Call it quits, regardless if it’s online or in a brick and mortar gambling den, do not stick at the tables or machines. Always keep in mind, there no doubt will be another day, another time. Obviously, this process is able to function for any game that you play, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, blackjack or any other game.
Keep in mind, gaming should be enjoyable not demanding, sickening work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If you can’t pay for the squanderings, don’t even start.
