There are several other dominant Iowa casinos, which includes Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 sq.ft., 1,212 slots, and 39 table games.

A tinier Iowa gambling hall is the Diamond Jo, a water based gambling den in Dubuque, with 17,813 square feet, 776 slot machines, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend paddle wheel boat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 sq.ft., 535 slots, and 14 table games. An additional Iowa river based gambling hall, The Isle of Capri, is open 24 hours, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot paddle wheel boat gambling den in Clinton, has 506 one armed bandits, 14 table games, live shows, and Thursday twenty-one events.

Iowa casinos provide an awesome deal of tax revenue to the government of Iowa, which has allowed the bankrolling of many commonwealth wide projects. Tourism has increased at a rapid rate accompanied with the requirement for services and an increase in working people. Iowa gambling halls have been instrumental to the expansion of the economy, and the affection for wagering in Iowa is absolute.
